JCB India opens new dealership in Navi Mumbai

New Delhi: India’s leading manufacturer of Earthmoving and Construction equipment, JCB India, on Monday inaugurated its new dealership Indimo JCB at Navi Mumbai. Spread over an area of 14,000 ft², this new dealership will employ about 100 people and will manage the Sales, Service and Parts business for JCB’s range of machines in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar, the company said in a release.

“There has been a continued focus on creation of infrastructure in India; and our customers who use JCB machines are at the heart of this development. With this new dealership, we are delighted that our customers in Mumbai and nearby areas will get further access to a world-class customer experience,” Deepak Shetty, CEO and Managing Director of JCB India Ltd, said.

About 30% of the workforce at the dealership will be women. Since the headquarters of Indimo Tech is at Navi Mumbai, the dealership will have outlets in Ghatkopar, Virar, Boisar and Panvel for further reach. It will also have outlets in Vadkhal, Mangaon, Shahpur and Bhiwandi and will provide 24×7 service support for customers.
It will also have a Livelink command Centre, JCB’s advanced Telematics technology, which enables real-time updates about the service, operations and security of equipment.

“Mumbai is an important market for us and we look forward to engaging further with our customers. The Indimo group, with its strong product support background, will certainly ensure that our customers are never far away from professional product support,” Shetty added.

The dealership has a four-bay workshop at Kopar Khairane and has two more workshops coming up at Panvel and Virar. With the new airport coming up at Panvel, JCB will be able to support machines of customers engaged in the development of this prestigious project.

JCB invests INR 1000 crore in Vadodara aimed at exports market

JCB has so far invested 1 billion pounds in the country and it is currently a market leader in the construction equipment space with one in every two being sold by JCB. The equipment major which produces about 40000 to 50000 construction equipment machinery will create 1200 direct jobs and hundreds of indirect jobs in the ancillary space.
